Hanging Around

My sister and my cousins, Mari and Keshia, basically grew up together. When Mars and Kesh came here from the Philippines, they were literally kids and Tin was 2 years old. Under my grandparents’ care everyday, they’ve developed a bond as only sisters can. One of their favorite pastimes? Hamming it up for the camera. I managed to “talk them into” posing for me for a few minutes on Easter Sunday. Of course they happily obliged. Fun gals! I’m sure this won’t be their last “shoot” with me.

A Day With Zavyer

There was really no better way to spend a rainy President’s Day off than hanging out with Isa, Nick and their newest little boy, Zavyer. Ate Tin, Larnie, Gwennie and I drove down to Anaheim that morning and took turns carrying Baby Z Ballon and catching up with the new mommy and daddy, not to mention organizing an impromptu photo shoot.

How many people does it take to take pictures of a 3-week old? Apparently 5 adults. Gwennie held up Zavyer’s musical mobile which keeps him calm, Ate and Larnie were dancing around to keep him from crying, Nick was in charge of taking his pacifier away so I can take pictures and then putting it back in as soon as I was done. Ise videotaped us the whole time, just cracking up at our antics. HILARIOUS!

Ise and Nick – great people, great friends who I can already see are great parents.  Thanks for letting us hang out all day, you two!
