My Christmas cards arrived last week, but I haven’t addressed a single envelope. The tree is up, but there aren’t any presents under it. It’s December 10. // “It doesn’t feel like Christmas...” - I’ve heard this more than a few times in the last week. And the various sources from which it came, each have varying reasons to express this sentiment. So I’ve asked myself - what is Christmas supposed to feel like? As I’ve gotten older, it’s become a lot easier to get caught up in what it’s NOT supposed to feel like, and by the time I sense the warmth of the season’s true meaning, it’s almost New Year 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I begin and end with the one thing that always brings me comfort and understanding - GRATITUDE. My gratitude for every blessing - great and small, joyful and challenging. And most of all, offering others the opportunity to find and feel something for which they can be grateful as well. ❤️

Cheering the Lakers on, yelling at the officiating, eating garlic fries, matching jackets - there’s a crew for that, and this is mine. Got to celebrate another victory, not to mention watch AD score 50, with these guys. What 50 years of marriage looks like ⬆️ 😍 I’ve been privileged to know Tita Susie and Tito Nesty for almost 30 years. It’s been the added bonus for being best friends with Iya for just as long 😊 They’re some of the most welcoming and nicest people you’ll ever meet, and have a family created to match. What an amazing blessing to celebrate! Love you both! Cheers to 50 more years! ❣️❣️❣️ #50thAnniversary
