Funloving…adorable…just so darn cute. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of Sarah and Matt.
Just before the New Year, a friend of mine from elementary school emailed to tell me that her brother-in-law had just gotten engaged. A few emails back and forth with her soon-to-be sis-in-law, and one coffee meeting date later, we were scheduling their engagement session.
I’ve lived in the L.A. area for a loooong time, yet I never made it to Union Station until two years ago to attend a friend’s wedding. It’s just such a scenic place that has this very old school, 1940’s feel to it. It was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Matt. I mean, they got engaged at the top of the Empire State Building.
These two just have an easiness about them that’s reminiscent of that old time feel when life was uninterrupted by mobile devices and the constant barrage of information. When they are together, whether it’s at a quiet cafe or a busy train station, their attention is held by no one but the other. Which reminds me of another term I’d use to describe them? Simply heartwarming.
Can’t wait for your summer wedding, Sarah and Matt!
