Wongcharoensuk Family – Chino Hills, CA

“We’ve never sent Christmas cards before, but we’re going to this year. It’s the grown-up thing to do.”

Diana, you crack me up! But I see your point and am so honored I had a part in your first family Holiday greeting.

I’ve had the blessing of having friends who I’ve known forever, and Markie is one such buddy. I’ve known him since high school and, aside from becoming a husband and father, he hasn’t really changed much, which makes me love him even more (no matter how often the short jokes fly out of his mouth). And I love him even more for marrying someone like Diana who I get to call my friend, because it’s just so easy to love her too. She can spend a whole bachelorette weekend in Hawaii with a group of girls (half of whom she barely met), and easily befriend them. Mark is exactly the same so this pairing isn’t all that surprising. And now this pair is raising a pair of their own, A.J. and Madi =)

Thanks for spending the morning smiling and posing for me, you guys!

Antonio Family – Oxnard, CA

I’ve been friends with Gwen since college, so we’ve known each other for about 15-16 years (UCI! zot! zot!). She is one of the nicest and kindest people I know (with a hidden mischievous side that peeks out now and then, of course) and there’s not a person who meets her that doesn’t think the same. I got to spend an afternoon with her and her family at Via Marina Park up in Oxnard the weekend after Thanksgiving, and after a few hours with her parents, I could see why Gwennie is as awesome as she is.

Tito Larry and Tita Yoli (mom and dad Antonio) are soft-spoken, yet friendly. Gwen’s younger brother, Jason, his wife Trishia, and their two boys, Julian and Xander are goofballs. Dale, Gwen’s soon-to-be-hubby, is quiet, but get him laughing and soon you’re cracking up with him.

Thanks for such a great time, Antonio Family! Can’t wait to spend the whole day with all of you at the wedding!

Gonzalez Family – Arcadia, CA

Sometimes the most beautiful places are right under your nose and you never see it until someone brings you there. All thanks to the Gonzalez Family for choosing the L.A. Arboretum for their family session. It’s located in Arcadia, literally just 15-20 minutes from where I live and I’ve never been there. It’s such a beautiful spot just to walk around, and that’s what I had the pleasure of doing with these lovely people.

Thanks so much, Lyle, Rea and Gavin, for being the funloving family you are!
